Public Libraries: Non-Resident Fee Survey Now Available

IHLS is required to maintain a list on the IHLS website of non-resident program information from IHLS public libraries and to indicate whether or not a library participates in the non-resident fee program and what that fee is.  Each year IHLS asks all IHLS public libraries for this information.  This information is being gathered by a survey found at this link http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RYLPJX7 .  The deadline for completion of the survey is June 15, 2013

Each public library board is required to take action each year on whether to participate in the non-resident program and to determine the fee for non-resident cards.  Additional information on the non-resident fee program can be found on the Illinois State Library website.

Today 427 Libraries have merged into the Sharing Heartland’s Available Resources Equally (SHARE) system. SHARE libraries will have access to more than 10 million items. We are NOW the LARGEST multi-type library automation consortium in the Country!

Reminder: No Carterville Delivery on Friday

No Delivery on Good Friday

There will be no deliveries going out of the Carterville office On Friday March 29th, due to Good Friday being a holiday for the Union Drivers.

Three IHLS Offices Closed Due to Weather - Monday, March 25

Due to the inclement weather today, three IHLS offices will be closed for the day:

Champaign Office
Decatur Office
Edwardsville Office

The Carterville Office will remain open

Delivery will not run in the areas that are closed. Delivery will resume Tuesday, March 26th, with extra routes if necessary.

If you have a LLSAP emergency while the office in your area is closed, please call the regular phone number for your hub and follow the directions to reach someone in the automation department.
