We’re more than halfway there!
With over 300 libraries having completed their certifications and just over 200 left,
the annual online certification process is well underway.
This is a two step process:
The first step is to complete the Interlibrary Loan Traffic Survey. Information can be found at: https://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/library/libraries/ill_survey.html
If you need help logging in or with a user name or password, contact any of these staff members at the Illinois State Library and they’ll be more than happy to help you:
- Gwen Harrison, firstname.lastname@example.org or 217-785-7334
- Jill Heffernan, email@example.com or 217-557-7259
- Pat Burg, firstname.lastname@example.org or 217-785-1168
Once that is done, you can find the link to the certification portal and supporting documentation at: http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/library/libraries/librarycertification.html Logging in to the certification portal requires the agency’s Control Number and the main administrative branch number. These numbers can be obtained by searching the library agency’s record on L2
This certification verifies your compliance with membership standards currently in the administrative codes and confirms your eligibility for system services and state grant funding.
For more information on the certification process, please call Ellen Popit at IHLS or Pat Boze at the Illinois State Library.
