Give yourself the gift of a clean slate for the New Year. Submit your Public Library Per Capita and Equalization Grants now instead of waiting until Jan. 15, 2022.

Many district libraries have been waiting for the updated census numbers to be available online. The project has run into some glitches that may require more time before the information is available, but there is no need to wait. The Illinois State Library will make sure the correct census numbers are used to calculate the amount of money your library will be awarded.

An overview of the grants, requirements, and deadlines are available at the Illinois State Library website. For questions or help contact the Illinois State Library Library Development Group by email or at 800.665.5576 ext. 2. You may also contact Anna Yackle or Ellen Popit.
