The Network of Illinois Learning Resources in Community Colleges (NILRC) seeks an experienced business manager and membership director to run daily operations for a member driven consortium of community college libraries. Support the consortium by providing excellent customer service, facilitating cooperative purchases, performing financial functions, coordinating membership, maintaining website, handling event logistics, and facilitating NILRC Board and committee work. The ideal candidate is a motivated employee who enjoys connecting people, facilitating resource acquisition, and operating the consortium in cooperation with the Board. As NILRC’s sole employee, we provide a great opportunity for a self-starter who thrives on variety.
Annual salary will be no less than $40,000. 35+ hours in stable yet flexible work environment. The successful candidate will have an initial telework agreement for up to 6-12 months. NILRC is exploring the possibility of a host institution office setting or continued telework. Residence in Illinois required. Occasional in-state travel required.
