The Cataloging Maintenance Center (CMC) staff, like the rest of IHLS staff, is working remotely while staying in their homes. While we are at home, Vince Andrzejewski retired, after 11 years working tirelessly for the CMC, and at the same time we welcomed new staff member Heidi Margold, whom most of us have only met virtually. Heidi is excited about working with the CMC staff, and she brings a fresh approach to the cataloging world.

While CMC staff is sheltered in place we are working on transcription of oral histories from Marshall Public Library, bibliographic clean-up for PrairieCat in the RAILS system, inputting authority records into the Library of Congress database, and learning how to navigate the new RDA toolkit.
