The next period for libraries to join Explore More Illinois, RAILS’ online cultural and recreational pass program for Illinois public libraries, starts April 1 and ends May 15, 2024. Learn more about how Explore More Illinois can benefit your patrons during two upcoming webinars. 

Jessica Barnes, Special Projects Librarian at RAILS, will present an Explore More Illinois Information Webinar on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 1 p.m. The webinar will cover what Explore More Illinois is, how to join the program, and how your patrons can access attractions in Illinois and beyond. 

Does your library have a small LS or no ILS?

You can still participate in Explore More Illinois. Join Jessica and Ashleigh Enghausen, director of Cheney’s Grove Township Library, for Explore More Illinois for Small ILS and No ILS Libraries on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 10 a.m. Jessica will cover the admission process for libraries whose ILS is not supported by Explore More Illinois software or who do not have an ILS, and Ashleigh will share her experience of joining and participating in the program.
