It’s what so many of you have been waiting for! A Learning Log and Annual Library Certification History have been added to Library Directory & Learning Calendar (L2) and are now live.
Learning Log
- A Learning Log feature has been added for self-recording attendance at non-L2 events. This feature is similar to the Learning Report in the old L2. You can access the new Learning Log via a tab on your My Events page (Account >> My Events). For example: If you attend a safety training offered by your local Rotary, enter it in the Learning Report and it will be recorded as part of your annual continuing education.
- You can now view a report of your recorded attendance via a tab on your My Events page. In addition, your list of event registrations indicates the events for which you have been marked in attendance.
- Users who have an Agency level affiliation with a member library (e.g., library director) have access to a report of staff event registrations for users affiliated with any of your library’s locations. The report also indicates if attendance has been recorded. This list can be downloaded as a CSV file and is available through a link on the user’s Dashboard page (again, only if the user has affiliations with the library Agency as well as a Location).
Library Certification History
- Library certification history (beginning in 2021) has also been added to each agency’s main entry. When you begin the certification process for your library next year you can look at exactly what you did this year.
If you haven’t done much with L2 yet, please log in to L2 at http://www.librarylearning.org and look around. It’s a good idea to regularly check and see that your agency’s information is up to date.
If you need help or have questions, please reach out to Ellen Popit, Angela Thompson, or Anna Yackle and we’ll be happy to walk you through the tasks.
