The Marketing Coordinator will create and maintain all marketing content for IHLS members, as well as support, some communication and membership tasks for the organization. As part of the communications team the coordinator will be responsible for supporting the mission of IHLS. This person will also assist in membership efforts with outreach and advocacy projects and provide beneficial information for stakeholders on the IHLS website.

This position also resolves cataloging problems and aids in the maintenance of the online catalog. As part of the SHARE team, the Cataloger provides advice, offers training or demonstrations, and provides information on best practices and up-to-date polices in cataloging. This is accomplished by keeping up-to-date on relevant programs and services that enhance the ability of library staff to provide quality information to patrons in an effective and efficient manner.

This position also resolves cataloging and descriptive metadata problems and aids in the maintenance of the online catalog. As part of the Cataloging Maintenance Center team, the Metadata Cataloger provides advice, offers demonstrations, and provides information on best practices and current polices in cataloging. This is accomplished by keeping current on relevant programs and services that enhance the ability of library staff to provide quality information to patrons in an effective and efficient manner. The Sorter is a part-time position. The primary role of the Sorter is to assist in the daily sorting of books and other library materials transported by IHLS courier drivers. Other responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of the delivery tubs and bags, shelving IHLS books, delivering library materials to IHLS staff, and performing other clerical duties.
