Part time - Courier Driver - Edwardsville- Illinois Heartland Library System

Illinois Heartland Library System (IHLS) is seeking a part time courier to work less than 20 hours a week. Courier Drivers are a critical component to the provision of customer service. This position delivers books and other library materials to and from member libraries and may be required to sort library materials. Courier Driver services are provided Mondays through Fridays.

Pinnacle Library Cooperative

The Pinnacle Library Cooperative has an opening for a part-time Member Services Librarian. This position will work approximately 25 hours per week.

Working closely with the ILS Manager, the Member Services Librarian provides training and instruction to staff of member libraries. This is a unique position, suitable for experienced professionals or soon-to- be librarians who want to use their experience to support library staff throughout a consortium of 6 public libraries. In this position, you’ll use your library programming skills to create training opportunities for library staff, your reference experience to research issues related to the ILS, and your networking skills to create working relationships with library staff throughout our member libraries.

Muskegon Area District Library (West Michigan Lakeshore)

Your adventure starts here! Make a difference on the West Michigan Lakeshore as the new Library Director for the Muskegon Area District Library, headquartered in Muskegon County. The Library’s Board of Trustees seeks an innovative and experienced Director to implement an exciting vision for the library and its many constituencies. MADL serves 105,852 residents in 19 municipalities and townships with its mission to connect a diverse community to resources and services that educate, inform, enrich, and entertain. Governed by an eight-member Board of Trustees appointed by the local townships, the 11 library locations provide excellent services and programs with 57 staff (42 FTEs) and a $4.5 million annual budget. MADL shares a catalog, resources, and delivery system with other members of the Lakeland Library Cooperative. Key initiatives include developing and fostering a great work environment, managing taxpayer funds to meet the needs of the community, preparing for an upcoming millage renewal, negotiating a renewal for a current union contract, and keeping the library relevant as the public’s needs change.
