AMHS updates header graphic showing a woman at standing by AMHS conveyor belt sorting books into blue and gray IHLS bins. To the side is a full bookshelf with more bins.

We are pleased to announce that the recording is now available for the IHLS Members Matter Special Meeting: Automated Material Handling System LIVE Q&A.

Lynne Price from Marigold Library System (MLS) joined Colleen Dettenmeier at the Oct. 2, 2024, Special Meeting: AMHS Live Q&A to discuss how the sorting machine is working for them and how they handle audio/visual items. Marigold Library System sorts approximately 2 million items per year and does not use rubber bands on items going through their sorting machine. They have reported a very limited number of items that were damaged by the sorting machine.
