Please join us in welcoming the Cataloging Maintenance Center's newest intern, Kate Cobb!
Kate will be a virtual intern with the Cataloging Maintenance Center (CMC) this summer. Kate is an MLIS candidate with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and looks forward to graduating in August. This isn't her first master’s degree, though; she obtained an MFA in Creative Non-Fiction Writing from the University of Idaho as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University. Suffice it to say, Kate's been all over the United States, but libraries have always been her home. Kate resides in North Carolina now and works in the Alumni Engagement and Development office at Duke University, where she does completely non-library related tasks and reading in her free time. Kate is an introvert, Hufflepuff, and INFJ at heart, but always willing to discuss books. Libraries have always been near and dear to her heart, and she looks forward to being able to apply the skills and knowledge she gained in her time with the LIS program to "real world" work.
