It’s raining interns! Well, not quite, but the Cataloging Maintenance Center (CMC) is working with two interns this spring. Let’s meet them!

Meet the Spring Cataloging Interns

Anslie Waldrep

University of Iowa

"Hi, I’m Anslie Waldrep. I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree in library and information science from the University of Iowa. This semester, I decided to do a practicum with the CMC. Once I get my degree, I would like to work in a public library. Currently, I work at The Urbana Free Library as a Library Assistant 2. When I am not at work or my practicum, I enjoy reading, puzzles, TV shows, and hanging out with my cats. My fun fact is that I am a triplet."

Courtney Silver Headshot

Courtney Silver

University of North Carolina

"My name is Courtney Silver. I live in Enfield, N.C., where I was born and raised. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I’m currently in my last semester of the MLIS program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. My decision to pursue librarianship was motivated by my love for reading. My favorite genres to explore are sci-fi, romance, and horror. My ultimate goal is to be a part of creating avenues to accessible resources for small and rural communities like my own. In addition to a great book, I also enjoy listening to music, hosting game nights, and watching anime."
