CMC During the Pandemic, Online with the CMC, and A New Moodle Course
The Cataloging Maintenance Center (CMC) continues working on projects while Illinois maintains its shelter-in-place policy. Some projects that staff are working on include creating authority records, transcribing local oral histories for Marshall Public Library, performing database cleanup for PrairieCat, creating Moodle courses and presentations, and cataloging. If you have items that the CMC can catalog for you during this time only, please scan the front cover, title page, title page verso, and include the dimensions in centimeters, any significant content (maps, tables, etc.), and the last numbered page (if it is a book) and e-mail as a PDF attachment to: cmc@illinoisheartland.org
Heidi Margold, our new CMC cataloger, is working on some resources for collection care and handling for returned materials.
