Erin Wood-Cattell

University of North Carolina at Greensboro

In 2020, Erin completed her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. During her undergrad, she was a student worker in the architecture library. Erin is currently attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro for her MLIS and will graduate in December 2024. While in her master’s program, she has come to love cataloging and hopes to become a cataloger post-graduation in a public library. Erin basically grew up in her local libraries and hopes to provide the same experiences for other patrons. She chose the CMC because of the flexibility it offered as a virtual internship and the ability to expand her cataloging skills. In her free time, Erin enjoys playing video games and reading mysteries.

Caity Stricklin is doing her fall internship with the CMC. It has been a dream of hers since she took the cataloging course at UNC Greensboro to get into cataloging, so she is very excited! Her previous experience is in teaching at the elementary level for the last five years and she is looking forward to her career change. She currently resides in North Carolina and will be moving back to Texas in the fall with her husband, two little boys, and a dog when her husband exits the Army. She loves to read, and her current favorite authors are Sarah J. Maas and Rebecca Yarros.
